Salaried GP 6 sessions a week Monday, Thursday and Friday

We are looking for someone to work with us at Porthcawl Medical Centre as a Salaried GP on a 6 month contract from July-December. This would be for 4 sessions a week on a Thursday and a Friday. Successful candidate to undertake usual GP roles and be part of our practice GP rota which includes duty and calls.

We are currently looking for GP Maternity cover from August 2026 (9 Months). We require cover for 4 sessions (2 days) per week.

We are looking for a committed and empathetic General Practitioner who possesses strong interpersonal skills and can communicate clearly and effectively with both patients and colleagues. The successful candidate will enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking team, focused on delivering high-quality care and services to patients.

Ystradgynlais Group Practice are offering an opportunity to join our practice based over 3 sites at Pengorof, Ystalyfera and Abercrave. We currently have a team of 9 Partners and 2 Salaried GPs, we have a multidisciplinary team to include pharmacists, advanced care nurses, practice nurses, HCAs and phlebotomy services. We also have our Cluster Pharmacy Team and Physiotherapists.

We are a GP training practice, and offer many enhanced services. We also have medical and nurse students.

We are an extremely friendly and supportive team, with a patient list size of 12,500.
