Due to the retirement of our Senior partner after 30 years, we are Offering up to 6 Sessions (TUESDAY to FRIDAY), We are also happy to share these between 2X NEW GP POSTS, EG 3 SESSIONS PER SALARIED GP. www.abersychangp.wales.nhs.uk We are excited to be advertising for a new salaried GP position at our fantastic Training practice in Abersychan near Pontypool. The successful candidate would be joining a very friendly, happy and enthusiastic team, providing care to approximately 10,600 patients in the North Torfaen cluster with good links with M4 to Cardiff, Newport & Bristol. The Role: We are seeking a GP to come in and join our fantastic practice that previously won the RCGP “Welsh Practice of the Year Award”. Ideally, we are looking to recruit a GP, to cover between 3 and 6 sessions (TUESDAY to FRIDAY). For the right candidate, we are open to negotiation on number of sessions and start date. The successful applicant may be newly qualified or very experienced. Who we are: We are a stable, supportive, well-managed and organised practice. We currently have 6 partners, A salaried GP Retainer, 3 Salaried GP’S ,4 Practice Nurses, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 1 HCSW, 2 Phlebotomists and an NCN Pharmacist. We are a Training practice with 4 GP Trainers, and we currently have 2 GP registrars working with us and a Medical Student (Year 5). We have 2 x Purpose built buildings. What we can offer you: A competitive salary of £11,000 per session per year 6 weeks annual leave pro rata, an extra 1week study Leave, (plus an additional allowance for bank holidays) Peer support and mentoring to further develop your clinical skills and interests.
