You will be supported by an experienced MDT, including an ANP, paramedic, nursing team, pharmacists, and a strong care navigation and administrative team.

Qualifications
Essential

**Long-Term GP Locum Opportunity – Maternity Leave Cover**
**Oakfield Street Surgery, Ystrad Mynach**
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic GP locum to provide maternity leave cover from **November 2026 until Summer 2027**.
**Sessions:**
* **4 sessions per week**
* **Tuesdays and Fridays**
**The role will include:**
* Routine and urgent GP clinics
* A fair share of on-call duties
* A fair share of prescription signing
* Working as part of our friendly and supportive clinical team
We are a well-established, welcoming practice with an experienced multidisciplinary team and supportive administrative staff. We are looking for someone who is a good team player and able to provide continuity of care during this maternity leave period.

We are a friendly and supportive GP training practice who promote multidisciplinary working. We currently have 6 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, 3 Practice Nurses, 3 Healthcare Assistants, 4 Pharmacists, 1 Cluster Pharmacist, 1 Mental Health Practitioner and 2 Physiotherapists. We have a patient list size of approximately 15,500 patients.
