Welsh Locums Connecting primary care locums and practices

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maternity Locum GP (5 sessions) to join our friendly team at Wellspring Medical Centre. The role covers Monday (all day), Tuesday (all day), and Wednesday (afternoon), starting Monday 11th May 2026 for 26 weeks until Wednesday 4th November 2026.
You’ll work in a purpose-built surgery with a supportive, close-knit team who meet daily for coffee and collaboration. Our shared workload model means no stressful “on-call” days. Clinics start at 9am Monday and Tuesday, and 3pm Wednesday, with finish times around 5:30pm (Mon/Tue) and 6:30pm (Wed).
Wellspring Medical Centre is a medium-sized practice (list size 9,500), located just 5 minutes from M4 Junction 28. Our team includes 5 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, an ANP, nurses, HCAs, and a phlebotomist, supported by cluster physiotherapy, wellbeing, and pharmacy services. We are an established training practice, committed to teaching and providing a positive, supportive environment. We offer enhanced services including minor surgery, LARC, and shared care monitoring.

6-8 session maternity locum from Feb / March (9-12 months).

Ideally working across our two sites. Sessions are a mix of pre-bookable and on-the-day telephone triage, with a few eConsults as well.
